Using steel sheet panels shieldings of large volume can be errected. This requires an outer supporting structure. Alternatively the shielding material can be attached direct to the building. The walls are lined with mineral wool plates for sound-absorption and are covered with perforated panels. Ventilation and aeration is realized via steel waveguides which can be connected to a ventilation system in the building or direct via ventilators or heating registers.

Power line filters of up to 1000 volts and several thousand Amp. are used for electric feeding. The control cabin in the hall can be shielded, too.

For large test objects the hall can be equipped with either leaf doors or sliding doors.
